Jay Paul Gundotra, Senior Product Manager
(MCP,MCT,MCSE, CompTIA)
Jay Paul GundotraJay Paul Gundotra (MCP,MCT,MCSE, CompTIA) is the founder of ENow, inc. He has over 15 years experience in network computing. Jay has designed, deployed, administered, and consulted on Microsoft Exchange server since version 4.0 was released in 1996 for various organizations including Getronics, Small Business Administration, Storage USA, Westfield, J2 Global Communications, Visa, DS Waters, and Fox Television. He has designed Windows 2000 networks for private companies with as many as 15,000 workstations nation wide. He has experienced the entire spectrum of IT services from development of software to managing a global IT team for an enterprise company. Jay is also an instructor and has delivered training to the government. He has also spoken at various Microsoft events including the Microsoft Exchange Conference.

 

Andy Grogan [ MVP (Exchange) ]
Andy GroganOriginally, Andy started out as an IT manager for a large Senior school in London, where in addition to his technical duties he also taught the programming elements of the Advanced Level Computer Science qualification using Object Pascal. Andy next joined one of London’s largest Local Government Borough’s as the deputy manager of the Schools IT support service. During this period his team looked after 900 customers spread across 80 geographically separate locations.

Andy has recently focused his energies on Exchange 2007 as more and more companies are recognizing the benefits that the new message platform brings. Currently Andy has deployed over 25,000 seats of Exchange 2007 and is currently working on a migrating a customer that has in excess of 150, 000 seats to a CCR high availability implementation of Exchange 2007.

 

Lasse Pettersson [ MCSE + M & MVP (Exchange) ]
Lasse works for Human Data as Principal Consultant, specializing in Exchange and Office Communication Server. He started in the computer business 25 years ago writing software. He has worked with Exchange since version 5. He does all kind of jobs with Exchange and OCS, installations, migrations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and teaching. Lasse also speaks and works at conferences such as TechEd.

 

Norber Klenner [ MVP ]
Norbert started his computing career working with Novell Netware. In the late 1990’s he switched his focus to Microsoft Windows and Exchange. He was born in 1957 and has worked within the IT industry since 1982.

During the 1990’s he was a very early adopter of Active Directory where he saw the benefits immediately and has gained extensive experience in the design, implementation and migrations of many Exchange and Windows NT environments to Exchange and AD.

 

Raphael Barini [SCNS, SCNP, MCT (Exchange)]
Raphael is currently the IT Manager at Policomp S.A. in Chile, where he creates and architects new solutions using the latest Microsoft Technologies. His main focus is in Virtualization and Dynamic environments, Messaging and Unified Communications. He also has an interest in security, obtaining SCNS and SCNP certifications, as well as conducting the first Ethical Hacking course for the PDI in Chile.

Raphael has 12 years of experience in IT and Development, and has worked for large companies in the United States, Brazil, and Chile, with the largest company having over 200,000 users. His native language is Portuguese, and he is also fluent in Spanish and English.

Raphael received the Best Technical Microsoft Instructor Worldwide 2008 award from New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, with an average of 8.99 of 9.00 in MTM metrics. The competition included 3000 MCTs of the New Horizons franchises. Raphael currently has 49 Microsoft Certifications. As a freelancer MCT, Raphael is highly participative in the Microsoft community, regularly performing onsite presentations and webcasts for IT professionals and others.

 

Hans Kremer
Hans KremerHans is the current Managing Director and CIO of NETsec GmbH. Hans started his career in the IT industry as a network administrator and technical IT trainer specialising in Database Administration & database programming, development of database driven web applications, Active Directory & Exchange Design, concept, implementation and technical documentation. During 2000 to 2004 he worked as a self employed IT trainer where in 2004 he Setup his own firm specialising in IT security and specialist Exchange tools.

 

Kevin Wilson
Kevin WilsonKevin Wilson is an MCSE /CNE and President of
Infinet Technologies Inc. in Toronto, Canada. Kevin specializes in the design, migration and implementation of Active Directory, Exchange, Terminal Services, Citrix, and Propalms TSE solutions and has been in the IT industry for more than 12 years.

 

 

 

Ismail Mohammed [MCP, MCSA, MCSE, MCTS & MCITP]
Ismail Mohammed Ismail began his career in 2001 as an Administrator for a cyber café. In 2002, he was invited to join Infoton Solutions in Mumbai, India in the Systems Engineer capacity for end client support. From 2003-2006, he worked for Wipro as a Technical Support Engineer rendering vendor support to Microsoft PSS customers. During his PSS years he was promoted to Technical Lead for the Exchange Team. After leading a team and playing with Break Fix scenarios, he moved on to become a Technology Specialist with Microland in Bangalore, India, where he was supporting GE Infrastructure. Today, Ismail is the Senior Systems Administrator for Unisys-UGSI.

Aside from his work, Ismail takes an active role in the Microsoft Exchange Server community and was awarded the title of “Trusted Source” from MSExchange.org for all of his contributions. He has also written articles for www.exchangeserverinfo.com and www.exchangeserverinfo.net.

Ismail conducts technical sessions on Exchange 2007 and Unified Messaging for BitPro Community, and if time permits he also conducts training for Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange Server.

 

 

 

Mahmoud Magdy
Mahmoud MagdyMahmoud started his career at age 16 as an IT trainee, and has spent the last 11 years working closely with AD, Exchange, OCS and Systems management. Mahmoud was previously an Infrastructure Consultant/Team Leader for global knowledge before moving on to Microsoft Consulting services as an Infrastructure Consultant. He is currently the Technical Lead for Ingazat Information Technology in Cairo, Egypt.

Mahmoud’s passion is for UC technology in general, with a focus on Microsoft Exchange. He is CCNP, MCITP Windows Server 2008/Exchange 2007, and has earned several other certifications. Apart from performing his routine consulting work, he also conducts regular training and workshop sessions on Exchange and OCS at Microsoft. Mahmoud’s favorite pastime is playing chess, and he claims that no one can beat him at Medal of Honor! He enjoys spending his free time with his lovely wife Amany.
